100 Proof – 100 Miles of Appalachia!
This is the most scenic and challenging dirt road ride you will do this year! 100 mile dirt road ride with 8000+ feet of beastly climbing. The ride starts and ends in downtown Lenoir North Carolina and travels up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and down through beautiful and scenic Wilson’s Creek Gorge. The 100 Proof will have 2 cut-off points. The intersection of 90/Roseboro Rd is a 12pm cut-off and the 3rd rest stop at Betsey’s store is a 2pm cut-off. This is a safety measure to ensure all riders are returned before dark. Alternate (shorter) return options will be explained if you miss these deadlines. Grave Bike Co. has put together the Bootlegger 100 Race Bible, you would be remiss not to delve into it!
60 Proof – 100 Kilometers of Appalachia!
100 kilometer dirt road ride with 4600+ feet of climbing. New to the gravel scene or short on time? Maybe the holiday lbs haven’t trimmed off to the level you feel comfortable sipping on the 100 Proof? Join the 60 Proof! This will be a well supported fun ride that provides the flavor of the 100 Proof with only half the hangover…….(that little bump in the middle of the elevation chart is really insignificant:)
